RETMAC – TUBULAR WATER COOLER FOR CHILLER

Tubular Water Cooler for Chiller aims to replace the use of ice in chillers, by direct cooling of water through an evaporator.

• Greater control of refrigeration capacity, depending on variations in thermal load inherent to the process (variation in slaughter speed and carcass weight).

RETMAC incorporates a heat exchanger and liquid separator in a single unit, making it easy to install and operate. It has an integrated PLC, carrying out the entire process in a controlled and automatic manner. The motorized pressure modulating valve provides precise control of evaporation pressure and water temperature. The arrangement and circuit of the tubes were carefully designed to obtain high thermal efficiency and ensure the desired water temperatures.

RETMACs are manufactured to meet 100% of sanitary requirements. All parts in contact with water are made of stainless steel, with sanitary connections and joints: the water does not come into contact with any contaminating substance or surface. Cleaning is done using CIP (Clean In Place), and the inside of the tubes can be accessed for mechanical cleaning. The design and construction of the equipment also ensures that the water is not contaminated with the refrigerant fluid.

For cooling offal, Mebrafe offers RETMAC MINI CHILLERS, which are tube and tube heat exchangers, presenting the same operating and sanitary characteristics already described for RETMAC.
