Applications:

Mebrafe ice machines are manufactured in four models:

FLAKE ICE MAKERS (Capacity from 1,300 to 20,000 kg/24h)

The ice makers are designed and produced with cutting-edge technology and over 35 years of experience in the market.

General Features:

• Forced air condensation using axial fans with protective grid;

• Low-noise, semi-hermetic compressors;

• Base in hot-dip galvanized carbon steel, ensuring greater durability of the equipment;

• Electrical drive and control panel, with operation signaling via synoptic, for better process signaling.

The manufacturers are supplied, assembled and tested in the factory, requiring only water and electricity supplies.

Note: these manufacturers can operate with any type of halogenated fluid.

FLAKE ICE GENERATORS  (Capacity from 2,000 to 30,000 kg/24h)

Description of Operation:

• The Mebrafe flake ice generator is a fixed vertical cylinder with a double externally insulated wall (1);
• The water is carried to the upper part (2) by a pump (3), which flows continuously through the internal wall (4);
• The refrigerant fluid evaporates inside the jacket (5), freezing the water, and its excess is sent through a deflector (6) to the recovery tank (7);
• The central shaft (8), driven by a gear motor (9), has a support equipped with a milling cutter with helical blades (10) which, rotating on itself, releases the ice and lets it fall through the lower part of the cylinder, with rubber dryers that rotate together with the crusher, thus allowing dry ice to be obtained.

As the ice is obtained by mechanical release, and not with hot gas cycles, the performance of this machine is excellent, allowing the product to be obtained with low energy costs.

FLAKE ICE GENERATORS FOR AMMONIA

• Jacketed pipes, made of carbon steel, hot-dip galvanized, with ice formation on the external and internal faces – stainless steel pipe option;
• Horizontal liquid separator, complete: automatic level control, liquid injection system, expanded polyurethane insulation coated in smooth aluminum sheet;
• Ice breaker with high performance VI pole electric motor;
• High performance water pump, VI pole motor;
• Structure in galvanized carbon steel profiles and sheets, ensuring a long life for the equipment – ​​stainless steel construction option;
• Set of automatic valves;
• Electrical panel for automatic control of ice generator, with adjustable time clock for ice formation cycle, via PLC;
• Common application in poultry cooling chillers, fishing industry etc.

CYLINDER ICE GENERATORS FOR AMMONIA  (Capacity from 3,000 to 15,000 kg/24h)

These ice makers operate on R-717 (ammonia).

The ice is produced inside A-304 stainless steel tubes, with a large water circulation, which allows the production of crystal clear ice in cylinders with a diameter of 35 mm and an approximate length of 35 mm. This ice is produced and expelled automatically by the machine, on average, every 20 minutes.

Mebrafe ice generators are supplied mounted on a metal structure, insulated with injected polyurethane and coated with 0.8 mm smooth aluminum.

Series Items:

Electrical panel for control, magnetic level control, solenoid valve with filter, gear motor for ice cutting and centrifugal recirculation water pump.

They must be connected to refrigeration systems with an evaporation temperature of -10ºC.
