Lenke VP-1215 Checkweigher was developed to meet the industry’s need to ensure the real weight of the products sold, print and apply labels on the boxes and make the automatic noting of the production. On the incoming conveyor, a fixed scanner reads a primary label on the box or package, where it identifies the product, the information is processed, and each product has its weight tolerance. If the product is within the pre-programmed weight tolerances, the system prints a label and applies it to the box automatically, after printing a second fixed scanner reads this generated label thus performing the production note in the customer’s database. If the weight is off or there is no good reading of the labels, the box is rejected and the noting is not made. The checkweigher ensures this monitoring efficiently, avoiding losses for both the company and consumers.
